I recently met up with some talented woman bloggers and business owners in DFW. We gathered around the idea of sharing a good meal and our best tips for newbies and experts. To say that this brunch with local bloggers was amazing would be an understatement. We had the most fun!

Actually, I had hosted this same event back in April with Addie of SheBeKnowin.com and so I knew what to expect. But, all of that was thrown out of the window as we bonded on levels I could not have planned for if I tried. We left invigorated, ready, challenged, and   connected! Isn’t that the point? Yep!

I knew I wanted the ladies to bond, but I also wanted them to work. So, I picked up some cute pads and pens, and designed a few tasks for them had to do. In essence, we had a mini mastermind. I love a good mastermind! We then discussed who we were and what our biggest pain point was. We passed those lil books and added tips and feedback. (Yes, you can steal that idea.) I also gave them free “Do It Anyway!” wristbands to remind them to kick fear in the #@!#! You get the pic!

We will do it again in October, but until then I want to challenge you to find your tribe that commits to connect and uplift you monthly. After all, Bloggers Who Brunch was formed with that in mind- Connection.

So, what did we walk away with from this meeting?

1. We found real community exists

2. We got to share our expertise and receive expertise

3. We got the help we needed to go to the next level

4. We found accountability

Blogging is a beautiful art. It can sometimes be hectic, solitary, and challenging as we bloggers grow our ideas to help others, share our journey, and move towards the more that we have to do as a part of our purpose. Be sure to connect with other like-minded men and women who are willing to share in your journey and provide tips that can help you. Can’t make it to Dallas? Start you own mini-meet up! Around these parts, my motto is Do It Anyway! Get to it!

XOXO,

Kaydy

P.S.
