Mandate Men's Conference and The "YES!" Women’s Conference

This was POWERFUL time of speaking into the lives of moms and dads. Peaceful Rest Missionary Baptist Church put on a fabulous, praise-filled, and life-giving conference for men and women. I was blessed to speak all 3 days and it was my honor to pour into the men and women. I taught the men how they have “A Mandate with Destiny.” I used the story of David and Goliath to bring home the fact that they must show up and fight for their family with what they have in their hand. It is enough. For the women, I shared my story and again pulled from a favorite Bible story about the wide who was a bout to make a cake for her sons and herself and die.  Then, I taught ‘Single Mom University” a 45 minute workshop with Q&A  just for the single moms. We finished the night with a all speakers panel that was for “Adults Only,” We talked love, marriage, sex before marriage. Women texted in their heartfelt questions and we took them to heart and gave sound advice. I hope to visit “The Rest” again soon. They were great hosts and an amazing audience of believers. Most importantly I got to do what God has gifted me to do: speak life, share wisdom, and give practical insight into living a godly life even as a single mom.

Denim and Diamonds Women’s Conference

Wow! I had such an amazing time speaking at this event in my OWN church. It was a total blessing to partake of such an extraordinary experience for women no matter what their status. My session was called “Single Saved and Satisfied.” Here I am teaching. I ended up doing two sessions back to back. I always add Q&A to my talks because people need a place to ask for help in the moment. I was so impressed with how many married women attended so they could help their single friends keep holding on. Lol! Many women shared their testimonies and thanked me for my vulnerability and authenticity. Listen, I’m here to remind people that Jesus died for all of us and has already planned a good, good future for us. What we have to do is stop living in guilt, shame, and the past, and learn to uncover the beauty he sees and to live in his love. Need a powerful speaker? Let’s chat!

Single Moms Who Brunch

My first event was hosting my brainchild “Single Moms Who Brunch.” It was a day out for single mothers in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to connect with other moms and a coach like me and have that amazing adult time we all long for. We had so much fun, it went over well, and many of us are still friends today. This event evolved into my current event series “Brunch and Love” a relationship soiree for single moms.

#Momchat

I host a weekly meet up for single moms called “Mom Chat.” Mom chat is a space just for us to connect, ask questions, get answers, and listen in as I discuss the topic of the week. It’s fun, interactive, AND there are prizes. I pick a winner to receive something cool each week, so lock in my Facebook Business page: The Winning Single Mom. Yes, it is perfectly okay to put a reminder in your phone right now, sis. 🙂 Because this is a space just for you. No more wondering where are the women like you or how to get the answers you need,  or where I can you feel seen? We have Momchat every Sunday at 7 pm CDT.
