I had the urge to speak to you about singleness tonight. I have received the stares, felt the discomfort around married women and their husbands (cause she thinks I want him), and even the “Oh, you poor thing” from married women for my simply being a single mom. It’s not surprising if you may have experienced this as well.

Isn’t it heartbreaking? Not because we have no husband, but because someone thinks they have it better because they are married? Or, that we in some way are so desperate we want a man who would cheat or leave his wife? I always pity that kind of woman. And I think, “why not just be my friend or encourage me or let our kids play together, or not say that silliness at all?”

Truthfully, I really want to shout this from the rooftops: “Ma’am, I am happy being single. Yes, I want a good man, but a man is not my all. Oh, and I definitely do not want your husband.” Have you ever felt that way? Lol! Jeez!

And I get it. There are some trifling heifers out there THAT DO. I’m not one of them. Sorry. Not my calling.

I also know there are plenty women desiring a mate who are single parents with kids and some who are not. The truth is I had my years of “woe is me” and why am I alone. But, I grew out of that and learned to love me first. I learned to appreciate myself and wait.

Life is beautiful NOW. Don’t miss it pining for a season that hasn’t come yet. Enjoy your life NOW.

So, I periscoped tonight about enjoying your season of singleness and not letting people’s idea of being whole (usually married) cause you to get into a relationship you don’t want to be in. In the video, I take you through what you should be focusing on and how you must love on you.

The video will last 24 hours and then you can find it on catch.me. I’m Kaydyma there, too. To every single mom out there, you must heal from hurt and enjoy being single before you can fully accept and receive the love you want. Give your Boaz a break. Get over the last …azz before you go into your next relationship. 🙂

Use this season to heal, to chase your dreams and to love on you! You deserve to rock the life you got.

Tired of being single? Think it’s a curse?

Do It Anyway!
