If I had to attribute my success (or progress) as a mompreneur in 2015 to one business tool, it would be to podcasts. Maybe like me, you have your own business, or you want to start one. Either way, podcasts are an excellent medium to learn new material, new insights, and to do so in a manner that fits your life.

Listen, you must add podcasts to your educational foundation. I love them! Can you tell?

There are many types of Podcasts and they are amazingly versatile. Podcasts can range from 10 minutes to an hour in length. You can download them and listen to them while you work on your dreams, work out, or like me, consume them on your lunch break and while you work out. You can listen to them in the car, on the plane, while you wait at the doctor’s office, etc. I have been known to binge-listen when I get time. You can just call me … #addicted

Podcasts are the new book. I said that, so remember it was me when someone more famous says so. It’s not true yet, but remember I said it. 🙂

Nowhere else can you get amazing content for free.99 and in bite-sized chunks. It’s no secret I plan to bring a podcast your way in 2016 geared toward the single mom, her career, lifestyle, etc. But, besides my dreams and it being a way to reach more single moms and empower them, it’s a fun way to share my knowledge and it’s not too time-consuming for me or you. Yaaas! Single moms need efficient use of time AND time to learn and grow. HELLO, podcasts! How you doin’?

So ladies, it’s time to get ahead of the curve. Take a look at my Top Ten Podcast recommendations to help you win in 2020. And the icing on the cake… they are all run by fabulous women entrepreneurs.

Oh honey, as Beyonce says, “Who run the world? Girls!”

Her podcast will help you fine tune the details so you can knock it out the park at your next event or business meeting. Yass!

This podcast is what I wish every woman who’s growing into herself would listen to. Touted as a woman you need to listen to to learn how to connect your network and to learn Linked In. Tijuana Ross is the real deal. She’s a coach, podcaster, radio host, and more. Right. Well, Amanda helps you in her podcast to see how amazing you and your gifts are and how to bring your awesome to the men and women who are waiting for it.

Check her podcast out here.

9. Online Marketing Made Easy by Amy Porterfield

Let me keep it really real. You do not have a business if you do not sell anything, if you do not have customers, and if you aren’t actively marketing that business. Amy Porterfield’s podcast takes something that doesn’t come easy to women and helps us learn how to market to the people we exist to help. I mean I burn on the inside to help other moms live their dreams, break out of their shells, run their homes with pride, etc. But if I don’t know how to tell my single mom sisters what I have to help them,  I’m not in business. To learn how to market online and to do so with a behind the scenes system that works for you, check out Amy’s podcast. It will bless you with the business side you didn’t know we needed.

10. Glambition Radio with Ali Brown

I love this podcast! I love them all yes. But, this podcast is powerful and you simply must add it to your arsenal. Ali works with mindset and let me tell you the number one thing that will stop you from progressing… is your belief that you can or can’t. She, like most podcasters, discusses a variety of topics. But, her podcasts always center on how women turned their dreams into businesses. We learn through the sharing of knowledge. Get ready to grow.

Why I’m geeked about this list

I actually got to go to Podcast Movement 2015 and I had a blast! I met Pat Flynn of SmartPassiveIncome.com  and let’s just say I may have startled him with all my excitement. He was so generous and kind. I learned a great deal and I owe that all to my friend Michelle Y. Talbert who has an amazing FaceBook Group for women entrepreneurs called Sister Power Hustlers. You should join if entrepreneurship is your thing and you’re looking for a great group of women to grow with! I had to plug my sis!

But, I’m geeked about this list because we women ROCK!!! No longer do we have to sit our dreams on the back burner. This list proves that you can do it. Don’t wait another day. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. Start learning and seeking how to have the life you want. Podcasts are a great way to learn what you didn’t know you needed.

If you think you don’t have time but you know you want to start a business or even a podcast, read this post first on finding balance. Our mindset is so important to our success as single moms. Honey, “If you think you can’t, you won’t,” as some smart person once said.

I say this all the time and I’ll say it again- I want you to win. Download some of these podcasts and begin to listen in and learn new things, reinforce what you knew, and stretch yourself beyond your wildest dreams. May this list bless you on your entrepreneurial and parenting journey!

I enjoyed putting this post together. I hope you find some new podcasts to listen to.

P.S.

I love hearing from you! Comment below and let me know which ones you liked or what are some other podcasts I should add.
